Investigation into Shooting at 10700 West Bellfort

July 2, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 13355 Northborough about 3:30 a.m. today (July 2). 

The victim, 31, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.J. Anthony and Senior Police Officer R.W. Chappell reported:

The victim was seen leaving his apartment about 1:30 a.m. and headed to an unknown destination.  At approximately 3:30 a.m., witnesses heard multiple gunshots and found the victim on the sidewalk.  Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.  

Witnesses reported seeing two black males, one with dreadlocks and the other with a short afro, leaving the area shortly after the shooting.
