Fatal Traffic Accident at 9200 Main Street

January 16, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 9200 block of Main Street about 5:40 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 15).

A male victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. A. Gonzales and Officer T. Cox reported:

The victim was traveling northbound on Main Street in a silver Buick when he turned off the roadway and struck a tree. The victim was then taken to the hospital by HFD paramedics.

The investigation is continuing.
