Fatal Traffic Accident at 15611 Raven Trail

January 5, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 15611 Raven Trail about 5:15 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 3).

The victim, Walter Chattman, 43, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L.H. Lefler and Officer E. Gonzalez reported:

The victim was operating his motorcycle, a Suzuki GSX1300, at an excessive rate of speed towards the end of the cul-de-sac where he lived when he lost control of the motorcycle and collided with two parked vehicles in a private driveway.  Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital. 

No persons were inside either of the parked vehicles.
