Fatal Shooting at 8609 Lockwood

February 19, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8609 Lockwood about 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday (February 18).

The victim, Joe Edward Gary, 51, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Officer J. Sosa reported:

Mr. Gary’s nephew arrived at the residence and called paramedics after he found his uncle shot. According to investigators, neighbors reported hearing gunshots early in the morning.
