Investigation Into Fatal Shooting at 2934 Brewster

February 18, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 2934 Brewster about 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 17). 

The victim suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Officer J. E. Rodriguez reported: 

The victim was shot inside her home after having a brief conversation with an unknown suspect.  The suspect then fled the scene after the shooting. 

The suspect is described only as a black male, 20 to 28 years of age.  He was wearing a black jacket and jeans and was last seen riding a bicycle.
