Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 10120 Westview

February 16, 2008 - A suspect has been arrested and charged in the fatal stabbing of a man at 10120 Westview about 9 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 14).

The suspect, Jose Sanchez Campos (H/m, DOB: 10-11-75), was taken into custody at the scene and is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court.

The name of the deceased victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rubio and Officer J. Robles reported:

The victim and suspect Campos got into a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation.  Campos retrieved two kitchen knives and stabbed the victim multiple times.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
