Fatal Shooting at 1800 Carr

February 11, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1800 Carr about 10 a.m. on Tuesday (February 10).

The victim, Manuel Froylan Lopez-Mejia, 26, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.M. De La Cruz and Officer J. Selvera reported:

Houston police officers responded to a report of a person down at the above location and arrived to find Mr. Lopez-Mejia deceased. Investigators learned a relative, who lived with the victim, called police after finding Lopez-Mejia shot inside the residence.

There are no suspects or motive at this time.
