Suspect Arrested, Charged In Woman's Death at 260 El Dorado Blvd February 10, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a woman found at 260 El Dorado Boulevard about 12:30 a.m. on January 28. The suspect, Paul Edward Ditton (w/m, DOB: 1-26-58), is charged with injury to elderly by omission in the 184th State District Court. He is accused in the death of his mother, Flora Ditton, 89, of the above address. Ms. Ditton suffered bedsores, dehydration and malnourishment and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers J. C. Bonaby and R. A. Swainson reported: Patrol officers responded to a call of the death of an elderly female (Ms. Ditton) at 260 El Dorado Boulevard. At that time, HPD Homicide Division and Adult Protective Services began an investigation into Ms. Ditton’s death. A follow-up investigation, evidence obtained from the autopsy and written statements identified Paul Edward Ditton as the suspect in this case.
