Fatal Shooting at 10211 Sugar Branch Drive

February 4, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10211 Sugar Branch Drive about 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 3). 

The victim, Allen Reed, 39, of Louisiana, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. M. Cegielski and Officer J. T. Barringer reported: 

Mr. Reed was outside in a common area of an apartment complex at 10211 Sugar Branch when he was shot.  The suspects are described only as four to five black males. 

There is no known motive or witness to this incident.
