Investigation Into Fatal Shooting at 11121 Bauman December 10, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a robbery suspect at 11121 Bauman about 8 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 9). The male suspect suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. The male shooter was not injured in this incident. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O.L. Chandler and Police Officer J.R. Johnston reported: Three unknown male suspects attempted to rob two men at gunpoint at the El Mate Tire Shop at 11121 Bauman. One of the victims, also armed, opened fire and fatally shot one of the three suspects. The two remaining suspects immediately fled the scene and remain at large. The two suspects are described only as a black male and a Hispanic male with a light complexion. Both were last seen in a black Mercury Mountaineer with 16 inch polished rims. Investigators are also searching for a white Ford F-150 crew-cab pickup truck believed involved in the incident.
