Wanted Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting at 5800 Maywood August 24, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 5800 Maywood about 1 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 22). The suspect, Hector Sanchez (H/m, DOB: 2-25-83), has been charged with murder by the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office. He is not in custody. The victim, Donovin Dozier, 24, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.W. McStravick and Officer T.A. Andrade reported: Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Dozier had suffered a gunshot wound. Witnesses stated they saw a maroon Chevrolet Astrovan fleeing the scene.
