Investigation Into Fatal Shooting at 9090 S. Braeswood

August 20, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooing of a man at 9090 South Braeswood about 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 19).

The male victim, 23, was suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T.D. Griffin and Officer R.P. Houghton reported:

The male suspect drove a gray Nissan Sentra into a parking lot at the above address and was approached by the victim.  The two argued and the suspect then shot the victim once in the abdomen before fleeing the scene.  The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
