More Suspects Identified, Charged In Shooting at 3100 Cleburne

August 19, 2009 - Charges have been filed against six additional suspects wanted in the shooting of eight people at 3100 Cleburne about 8:30 p.m. on July 22.

The suspects, Eddie Charles Larue II (b/m, DOB: 3-10-86), Roderick Deaundre Victor (b/m, DOB: 3-17-89), Graylon Charles Gaston Jr. (b/m, DOB: 2-22-88), Geivance Earl Garner Jr. (b/m, DOB: 10-8-90), Antonio Devinque Tezeno (b/m, DOB: 9-1-89), and Michael John Hopkins (b/m, DOB: 12-24-85) are charged with riot participation in the 263rd State District Court.  Photos of all the wanted suspects are attached to this news release.

The victims, ranging in age from 14 to 21, were taken to Ben Taub General Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer M.F. Waters and Officer J. Sosa reported:

The shooting occurred on the campus of Texas Southern University near a parking garage during a “Trae Day” concert.  Several shots were fired by several unknown suspects, resulting in the wounding of eight people. 

Further investigation determined Larue, Victor, Gaston, Garner, Tezeno and Hopkins were involved in this incident and all six suspects are currently at large. 

This case is being investigated by the HPD Homicide Division with assistance of the Texas Southern University Public Safety Department.
