Fatal Shooting at 9410 North Freeway

August 3, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9410 North Freeway (Interstate Highway 45 North) service road about 3 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 1). 

The victim suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Bush and Officer C. Sturdivant reported: 

The victim was found in an abandoned vehicle in a parking lot at 9410 North Freeway.  He had been shot.  It is believed the shooting occurred at another location. 

There is no known motive or suspect(s) at this time.
