Fatal Shooting at 2100 Hailey

April 29, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 2100 block of Hailey about 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday (Apr. 28). 

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer J. Rodriguez reported: 

The victim was walking in the 2100 block of Hailey when he was shot by an unknown male suspect.  The suspect then fled the scene, got into the passenger side of a silver or gray vehicle of unknown make and model, driven by another male suspect, and then sped away. 

The two suspects are described only as one black male (shooter) and one Hispanic male (driver).
