Fatal Traffic Accident at 2600 Jensen

April 27, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 2600 Jensen about 12:50 a.m. on Sunday (Apr. 26). 

A male victim was pronounced dead on the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer J. Lin reported: 

A Ford Expedition was traveling westbound on Lyons Avenue at a high rate of speed when it lost control, struck a pole and rolled several times. A witness stated that an additional occupant, a Hispanic male, exited the vehicle from the driver side and fled on foot.

The investigation is continuing.
