Fatal Shooting at 9550 Ella Lee Lane #1412

April 27, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9550 Ella Lee Lane #1412 about 8:10 a.m. on Sunday (Apr. 26). 

The victim, Terry Tate Jr., 26, suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and legs and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carillo and Senior Police Officer H. Chavez reported: 

The suspect, Shaneco Fennoy, and Terry Tate were previously involved in a relationship. Fennoy stated Mr. Tate had visited her apartment and was assaulting her when she shot him. No charges have been filed at this time. The case will be referred to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for review.
