Investigation Into Female's Death at 5612 Cripple Brook Court

April 13, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman at 5612 Cripple Brook Court about 12 p.m. on Sunday (Apr. 12). 

The victim, Rebecca Ruth Claybrook, 55, of Houston, suffered severe blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. R. McGalin and Senior Police Officer T.W. Miller reported: 

Patrol officers responded to a person down call at 5612 Cripple Brook Court and found Ms. Claybrook deceased inside her residence.  Further investigation determined there was no forced entry to the home. 

At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
