Surveillance Photos Released in Robbery Cases

April 2, 2009 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying several suspects responsible for at least two robberies of pawn shops in the north and northwest areas of Houston since February. 

The suspects, described only as four Hispanic males, primarily speak Spanish and in the latest incident, fled the scene in a dark blue, four-door Honda Accord.  Surveillance photos of the four suspects are attached to this news release.

On Feb 14, the suspects entered the EZ Pawn at 7503 Airline armed with pistols and a taser and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.  On March 16, the same suspects, armed with pistols, entered the InstaCash Pawn Shop at 9303 Long Point and robbed the employees of cash and jewelry.  In both incidents, the suspects used plastic zip ties to restrain the victims and entered the store prior to the robberies, posing as customers.
