Fatal Traffic Accident at 2000 Antoine April 1, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 2000 block of Antoine about 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday (Mar. 31). The male victim, 51, suffered head injuries and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant N. A. Perry and Officer T.A. Cox reported: The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound in the left lane of the 2000 block of Antoine when he lost control and struck a curb on the right hand side. Further investigation determined the victim was not wearing a helmet. The investigation is continuing. |
