Accidental Deaths at 4973 Ridgecreek Drive

September 19, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the deaths of three people at 4973 Ridgecreek Drive about 9:50 a.m. on Thursday (September 18).

The victims, two males and one female, were found deceased inside the residence. Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers D. R. Shorten and S. Straughter reported:

Officers responded to a welfare check call at 4973 Ridgecreek Drive after relatives had not heard from the victims since before Hurricane Ike struck. Officers entered the residence and discovered the victim’s deceased. A gas generator was found inside the garage, which had stopped running.

An autopsy will be performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
