Murder Investigation at 8500 Broadway #108

September 04, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 8500 Broadway #108 about 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday (September 3).

The victim, Frank Hawkins, 54, of Houston, suffered multiple lacerations and puncture wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. J. Blain and Officer E. H. Schmidt reported:

Apartment complex employees found Mr. Hawkins deceased inside of his apartment after concerned co-workers called the leasing office when he did not show up for work. Hawkins’ gray 2005 Mercury Sable was missing from the scene but was later recovered in the parking lot of a 99 Cents Only store at 8330 Broadway.
