Suspect Arrested in Deaths of Three at 10555 Turtlewood #212

October 27, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the deaths of three females found in an apartment at 10555 Turtlewood about 5:10 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 24).

Garland Bernell Harper (b/m, DOB: 12-11-69) is charged with capital murder in the 182nd State District Court. He is accused in the deaths of Triska Lashawn Rose, 38, Briana Roberson, 15 and Maya Love, 7.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer J. Johnston reported:

Officers responded to a check on welfare call and found the three females deceased inside an apartment.

Hours later, the suspect returned to the scene and was taken into custody. He subsequently confessed to his role in the murders of the three victims.
