Man Found Dead at 2300 Wayside October 20, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found in a bayou in the 2300 block of Wayside about 11 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 19). The victim, 35, who showed no apparent signs of trauma, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. R. McGalin and Officer D. W. Arnold reported: The operators of a passing train found the victim lying in Brays Bayou and called 9-1-1. Patrol officers and HFD personnel responded to the scene and pulled the victim to the shore. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600. VHS/JFC |
