Aggravated Assault at 7000 Corporate Drive October 2, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the aggravated assault of a man in the 7000 block of Corporate Drive about 8:30 a.m. today. The victim, in his 60s, suffered blunt force trauma to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. C. Padilla and T. Huynh reported: Westside Patrol Division officers responded to a call of a man lying in the grass in an open field next to an apartment complex. Officers found the victim, shirtless and his pants pulled down to his ankles, under a tree in the 700 block of Corporate Drive. A maintenance employee from a nearby apartment complex found the victim and called police. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600. |
