Dead Female Found at 1111 Pierce, Identified

November 5, 2008 - Houston police have learned the identity of a female found deceased at 1111 Pierce about 3:10 p.m. on Friday (October 31).

The victim, Luz Medina Marti, 78, suffered blunt force trauma to her head and torso and was strangled. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A.L. Semmelrock and Officer J.E. Rodriguez reported:

Church personnel discovered Ms. Marti and called for paramedics who found her to be deceased.
