Fatal Shooting at 4316 Alconbury Lane

May 27, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 4316 Alconbury Lane about 10:30 a.m. on Friday (May 23).

The deceased victim suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. The second victim also suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. T. Parker and Senior Police Officer C. L. Scales reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at 4316 Alconbury Lane and found the deceased victim lying in the front yard of the residence. The second victim ran to the Constables Office located on Cullen and was transported to the hospital.

Witnesses reported seeing a large white pickup truck and a black Dodge Charger or Chrysler 300 leave the location just after the shooting.
