Man Fatally Shot at 3600 Kinkaid March 24, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3600 Kinkaid about 2:30 a.m. today (March 24). The name of the victim, believed to be 25 to 30 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers A.J. Palos and C.T. Hufstedler reported: Witnesses told investigators the victim was walking north on Dodson when two vehicles, a dark colored GMC or Chevrolet pickup and a white Ford pickup, stopped in the street. The witnesses then heard one gunshot and saw the victim stumble and fall in the street. The witnesses approached the victim and then called 911.
