Two Die in Traffic Accident at 6500 Gessner March 03, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a one-car fatal traffic accident in the 6500 block of Gessner about 3:45 a.m. on Sunday (Mar. 2). The identities of the two deceased male victims, 21 and 18 years old, are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Officer J.E. Perrotte reported: A blue 1995 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck was traveling north on Gessner when the male driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a telephone pole. The truck then burst into flames, killing both the driver and his passenger. The Houston Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire.
