Fatality Accident at 7700 Katy Road and Hempstead June 30, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 7700 block of Katy Road at Hempstead about 6:45 p.m. on Sunday (June 29). The victim, identified as Jeanne Dodd, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant L.H. Lefler and Officer Y. Bashir reported: Ms. Dodd was driving her green Ford Explorer eastbound on Katy Road when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway.
