Fatal Accident at 7100 Parker Road June 20, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 7100 block of Parker Road about 9:20 p. m. on Thursday (June19). The male victim, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. S. Runyan and Officer M. E. Wick reported: The victim and an eight-year old male passenger were operating a Suzuki 750 4-wheeler on a concrete walkway in the 7100 block of Parker Road when they ran into a large water hose that was stretched across the walkway. The 4-wheeler then flipped over and pinned the victim underneath. The eight-year old received minor injuries. The investigation is continuing. |
