Fatality Accident at 7200 Hirsch June 13, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 7200 block of Hirsch about 10:55 p.m. on Thursday (June 12). The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D.S. Runyan and Officer D.J. Gutierrez reported: According to witnesses, the victim was driving a white Ford Crown Victoria northbound on Hirsch at a high rate of speed when he struck the rear of a white Chevrolet Cavalier, also traveling northbound. The victim lost control of the Ford and drove into a culvert. The female driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital with apparent non-life threatening injuries.
