Fetus Death Investigation at 8600 South Course #1217

July 31, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a fetus at 8600 South Course #1217 about 6 p.m. on Wednesday (July 31).

The male fetus was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. A. Odom and Officer J. L. Coffelt reported:

HFD personnel responded to a sick call at 8600 South Course #1217 regarding a female with stomach pain and found the female had delivered a fetus, that was deceased. She was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest for treatment.

There is no evidence of foul play at this time.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death of the newborn.
