Update On Incident at 1318 Rosalie January 11, 2008 - Additional charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a man found at 1318 Rosalie about 6:30 a.m. on March 24, 2007. A murder charge was filed today (Jan. 11) in the 339th State District Court against the suspect, Steven Mark Weinstein (w/m, DOB: 1/4/65), who is in custody in the Harris County Jail. Weinstein was initially charged (in the same court) with tampering with evidence the day the victim, Jerry Glaspie, 28, was found dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H. Chavez reported: HPD officers responding to a call regarding a foul odor entered the residence at 1318 Rosalie and discovered the decomposing body of an adult male. The body was found in the trunk of a vehicle located in the garage of the residence, owned by Weinstein. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Mr. Glaspie, and ruled his death a homicide. Investigators recently received new information in the case and the Harris County District Attorney’s office filed the murder charge against Weinstein today.
