Fatal Shooting at 11305 ½ South Main

December 01 , 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11305 ½ South Main about 1:45 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 29).

The victim, Durrel Fultz, 31, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Officer J. Sosa reported:

Mr. Fultz and three other males got into an argument with an unknown black male suspect as they were leaving the Gold Diggers nightclub and its parking lot. Fultz and two of the males left the parking lot and entered the roadway on South Main. At that time, the suspect fired several shots at Fultz’s vehicle. Fultz was struck, but continued driving the vehicle several blocks on South Main until it crashed at the 12000 block of South Main.
