Fatality Traffic Accident at 5000 Will Clayton Parkway August 18, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 5000 block of Will Clayton Parkway about 1:05 a.m. on Saturday (August 16). The female victim, six years old, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer J. Garcia reported: A maroon Ford Explorer, driven by a 22 year-old female, struck a tree in the 5000 block of Will Clayton Parkway. The victim was a passenger in the vehicle. Both occupants were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, the driver unconscious at the time. The investigation is continuing. GO/JC |
