Suspects Sought in Fatal Shooting at 10700 Fuqua #267

August 7, 2008 - Houston police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another at 10700 Fuqua #267 about 12:10 a.m. today.

The first suspect is described only as a black male, 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 330 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The second suspect is also a black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with black hair in dreadlocks, and brown eyes.

The deceased victim, 28, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the neck, chest and arms and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. The second victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he underwent surgery.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rubio, Senior Police Officer B. D. Evans and Officer D. K. Gunter reported:

The two victims were standing outside of apartment #267 at 10700 Fuqua when the two suspects approached them. At some point, the victims and the suspects got into an argument and several shots were fired. The suspects then fled in a late model Dodge Magnum with a custom two-tone black over silver paint job.
