Burglary Suspects Identities Sought From Surveillance Photos August 4, 2008 - Investigators with the Houston Police Burglary and Theft Division are seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects still wanted in the burglary of a pharmacy at 2510 Broad Street on July 16. Two of the unidentified suspects were captured on surveillance photos, which are attached to this news release.
The arrested suspect, James Edward Turner (b/m, DOB: 7/28/85) is charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 248th State District Court. HPD Burglary and Theft Division Investigator A. Daly reported: The suspects forced entry into MY Pharmacy located at 2510 Broad Street in the early morning hours of July 16. Once inside, the suspects stole loose bottles of narcotics and a large floor safe that contained a large quantity of narcotics. The fourth suspect drove the getaway vehicle and assisted in loading the safe into the suspect vehicle, described as four-door, white or light colored, late model Dodge Magnum with a sunroof. Video surveillance cameras captured the suspects as they were inside the business stealing the property. A previous release of surveillance footage by Crime Stoppers resulted in the arrest of Turner, and investigators hope the remaining suspects can also be identified. Anyone with information regarding this case or the identities of the suspects in the surveillance photos is asked to contact the HPD Burglary and Theft Division Southeast Squad at 713-731-5948 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
