Woman Found Dead at 3500 West Little York

April 15, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 3500 West Little York #307 about 8:50 p.m. on Monday (April 14).

The victim, Takiesha Allen Askari, 28, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R.J. Blain and Officer E.H. Schmidt reported:

Ms. Askari was found inside her apartment when family members arrived to check on her after she did not show up for work on Monday.

Homicide investigators are following up several leads and the investigation is continuing.
