Man Found Dead at 5300 Schurmier April 14, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5300 Schurmier Road about 9:15 p.m. on Saturday (April 12). The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants P.V. Munoz and M. Sosa Jr. reported: Officers responded to a natural death on arrival call at 5300 Schurmier and found the victim deceased from gunshot wounds. A vehicle seen possibly leaving the location after the shooting is described as a gray, two-door pickup truck.
