Incident at 7298 Kings Gate Circle September 24, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a wanted suspect in the fatal shooting of a man at 7298 Kings Gate Circle about 4 a.m. on Sunday (September 23). The victim’s identity is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. He sustained a gunshot wound to the rib cage and was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, Jose Alvarado Valasquez (H/m, DOB: 9/18/68), is charged with murder in the 179th State District Court. His photo is attached to this news release. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Anthony and Officer R. Chappell reported: Witnesses stated they heard gunshots around the area around 4 a.m. The victim was found in the parking lot lying face up with a pistol nearby. A search of the area revealed that more than one gun fired numerous shots.
