Update On Incident at 12400 Brookglade Circle

September 21, 2007 - Houston police investigators have learned the identity of a woman fatally shot at 12400 Brookglade Circle about 3:15 a. m. on September 19.

The victim, Fransica "Frances" Smith, 28, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her photo is attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant F. Flores and Officer B. D. Evans reported:
A resident discovered the deceased victim lying in the parking lot of the New Leaf Townhomes with a gunshot wound to the head. The resident then called police.

There are no known witnesses at this time.
