Update on Incident at 4400 West Airport #1403

September 14, 2007 - Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman in the 4400 block of West Airport #1403 about 12:55 a.m. on September 11.

The suspects, Eldrick Laroy Telfor (b/m, DOB: 3-29-87), and Herbert Ray Wilson (b/m, DOB: 3-29-90), are charged with capital murder in the 174th State District Court. They are accused in the killing of Anternett Rochelle Thomas, 19, of 4400 West Airport #1403. She suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C.W. Howard and M. McStravick and Officers C. L. Scales and R. P. Martinez reported:

Officers and HFD personnel responded to a shooting call at the Palomino Place Apartments and observed Ms. Thomas dead of an apparent gunshot wound inside apartment #1403.

A follow-up investigation led homicide investigators to identify Telfor and Wilson as suspects in this case. They were both arrested on Wednesday (September 12).
