Update on Incident at 4199 Broadway September 14, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a homeless woman at 4199 Broadway about 7:30 p.m. on September 6. The suspect, T. L. Turner (b/m, DOB: 5-29-50), is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Denise Marie Jabbar, 33, who suffered multiple stab wounds and died at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Torres, R.G. Lozano and Officer S. Anderson reported: Officers received a call of a body found under an overpass at the location and found Ms. Jabbar deceased. At that time, Jabbar’s boyfriend was a person of interest in this case. On September 12, officers responded to a Crime Stoppers tip regarding the suspect in this murder case. Officers identified and arrested Turner in the 8300 block of Park Place without incident.
