Surveillance Photo of Suspect Wanted in Northeast Robberies Released October 26, 2007 - Investigators with the Houston Police Department Robbery Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect wanted in an incident at the Family Dollar store at 9201 Wayside on August 19, 2007 about 12:25 p.m. The suspect is described as a black male, about 35 to 40 years of age, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a large build (approximately 200 to 220 pounds). He wears a cap and sunglasses and has a mustache. A surveillance photo of the wanted suspect is attached to this news release. HPD Robbery Division Sergeant J. Rivera reported: On August 19, 2007, the suspect entered the Family dollar and after a short time, approached the counter as if to purchase an item. The suspect threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded the money from the register. The suspect was seen leaving the store on foot. The suspect is believed to be responsible for a series of business robberies in the northeast area of Houston.
