Incident at 2619 Canfield #2

October 24, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 2619 Canfield #2 about 11 p. m. on Tuesday (October 23).

The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer J. Robles reported:

The female victim was found in a vacant apartment building with no visible wounds on her body. The victim was possibly homeless.

An autopsy will be performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
