Traffic Incident at 3000 State Highway 6 North October 13, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3000 State Highway 6 North about 2:20 a.m. today (October 13, 2007). The identity of the male victim is pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer J. Lin reported: The victim, who was driving a tan Infiniti 130, and the driver of a black Cadillac were travelling northbound in the 3000 block of State Highway 6. According to witnesses, the victim attempted to make a turn in front of the black Cadillac and was struck on the back left of the vehicle. The impact caused the tan Infiniti to spin into the opposite lane of traffic. A blue Toyota Tercel, travelling southbound on State Highway 6, struck the tan Infiniti, killing the driver of the vehicle. The driver of the Toyota Tercel was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the black Cadillac, Daniel Gracia (H/m, DOB 11-12-86) is facing charges of driving while intoxicated. The investigation is continuing. MES 10-13-07 |
