Update on Incident at 12600 Ashford Meadow November 21, 2007 - Houston police have arrested a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman at 12600 Ashford Meadow about 12:25 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 17) The suspect, Ronald Renfroe (b/m, DOB 9/12/79), turned himself in to Houston police officers without incident at 1200 Travis on Tuesday (Nov 20), while accompanied by his attorney. He is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court and is accused in the killing of Samantha Taylor, 39, of 12619 Ashford Meadow #B. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.R. McGalin and Officer D.W. Arnold reported: Ms. Taylor was attempting to break up an argument between her husband and Renfroe when the suspect (Renfroe) produced a handgun and shot at Taylor and her husband. Ms. Taylor was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Renfroe, who left the scene in a blue or gray Dodge Charger, may have fled to New Orleans following the shooting.
