Investigators Seek Sexual Assault Suspect November 20, 2007 - Investigators in the Houston Police Juvenile Sex Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted suspect believed responsible for at least two incidents of sexual assault of a child in the 10000 block of Telephone Road. The suspect, Hector Vega, AKA “Roberto Vega” (H/m, DOB: 9-24-65), is charged with continuous sexual assault of a child in the 176th State District Court. The victim, 10, is a relative of the suspect’s girlfriend. On November 14, the victim told investigators she was assaulted on two separate occasions. On September 13, the victim was home from school due to an illness when Vega entered a bedroom and sexually assaulted her. On November 1, the victim stated Vega called her into his room where he again sexually assaulted her. Vega is currently at large and his last known address is 2750 Morenci, in Pearland, Texas. At 10 a.m. TODAY (Nov. 20) an investigator in the HPD Juvenile Sex Crimes Unit will be available to discuss details of this case at the HPD Stringfellow Southeast Police Station at 8300 Mykawa.
