2nd Update on Incident at 2000 Del Norte November 16, 2007 - Houston police investigators have learned the identity of a deceased female found at 2000 Del Norte about 8:30 a.m. on June 26, 2006. The victim is identified as Lisa Holland (b/f, DOB: 12-05-74), however her cause of death is still unknown. A photo of Ms. Holland is attached to this news release. HPD Homicide Division Officers S. Straughter and D. Shorten reported: A truck driver working in the area discovered body of Ms. Holland lying in a ditch. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced her dead at the scene. Her identity was not known at that time due to the advanced stage of decomposition. Her remains were sent to the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth for testing and analysis. A family reference DNA sample of several persons was sent with her remains in an attempt to learn her identity. On November 13, 2007 she was positively identified.
